HOW SHOULD I DESIGN MY PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT?


Distribution Method

If you're handing out items in person, you can get away with heavy or awkwardly shaped products.  If you're mailing them, it's most cost effective to design a lightweight, regularly shaped item.

Campaign Type

You will design an item for a single sale differently than an item tailored strictly to brand recognition.  Single-use and disposable items are the best fit for event promotions, while mugs, stress balls, and t-shirts work better for long term campaigns.

Target Audience

Getting children to ask their parents for something is a lot different than marketing straight to their parents.  For younger audiences, bright colors and interesting shapes are going to matter far more than a URL.  For adults, contact information and specifics are more appealing.
